Rotherham United striker Jamie Proctor has joined League Two side Scunthorpe United on loan until the end of season – although the Millers have an option to recall him in January if needed.

Joining the Millers from Bolton Wanderers in the summer of 2017 Jamie has been troubled with injuries including having to have an operation on an Anterior Cruciate Ligament which saw him spend a long time on the sidelines playing in just eighteen games last season, the majority seeing him come off the bench although he did manage to score four goals.

This season the twenty-seven year old has been involved in five games, again mostly as a substitute, although he did play the full ninety minutes in the Football League Trophy game against a young Manchester United game earlier this month, his last game being on Wednesday night in the Carabao Cup.

All at Vital Rotherham wish Jamie ‘all the best’ in his loan spell with the Iron.
