Rotherham United’s Boxing Day game seems them travel to the Macron Stadium, now re-named the University of Bolton Stadium, to take on Bolton Wanderers.

The Millers sit in twentieth place in the Championship after their four-nil loss at home to high fliers West Bromwich Albion on Saturday while the Trotters are four points and three places below them in twenty-third.

Bolton lost one-nil at Brentford last weekend with their last home game also a one-nil loss that time to Leeds United with Rotherham’s last away game being the South Yorkshire derby at Hillsborough which ended two-all.

After coming off the bench at the weekend both Josh Magennis and Craig Noone will be hoping to start today.

This game will probably come too early for striker Kyle Vassell but it’s hopeful he’ll be ready for the New Year and Joe Mattock is a doubt after coming off the pitch on Saturday with a slight injury. As Millers fans we’re waiting to see if Sean Raggett will make the squad after it was thought he’d be at least on the bench in the loss to West Brom but didn’t appear.

Rotherham United fans are able to Pay On The Day at Bolton with tickets available from the turnstiles at Block F of the South Stand. Tickets go on sale from 2.00pm when it will be Cash Only.
