Now You See Him – Now You Don’t

|

Rotherham United recalled left-back Ben Purrington from his loan spell with AFC Wimbledon earlier today and have sent him straight back out on loan to Charlton Athletic.

The twenty-two year old joined the Millers in January 2107 from Plymouth Argyle with Ben making ten appearances that season in the Championship. The following season in League One he suffered with hamstring injuries and only managed twelve games.

Ben went to Kingsmeadow Park in August and has made thirty appearances for the League One outfit, his last one being in their three-two FA Cup win away at Fleetwood Town with his only goal for Wimbledon coming in the same competition when they were three-one winners away at Halifax FC.

Ben has moved to League One side Charlton on loan until the end of the season and is in line to make his debut against Shrewsbury Town at the weekend.

All at Vital Rotherham wish Ben ‘all the best’ in his loan move.
