After today`s nil-nil draw with Morecambe, Millers Manager, Ronnie Moore spoke about the Nicky Law situation with the supposed Crawley bid.

‘No bid has come through to us,` Moore told MillersPlayer. ‘And, no disrespect to Crawley, but I don`t think a twenty-two year old who played for Sheffield United and who`s played in the second division, wants to go to Crawley.`

Talking about any incomings to the Millers, Moore confirmed that he`d tried to get his son, Ian Thomas-Moore in from Tranmere, saying, ‘We put a bid in yesterday but they`ve not come back to us.

‘There`s still one or two irons in the fire with the players we`ve mentioned before and it`s like a saga. But, sooner or later, something has to give and it will work out that we will have an experienced striker in fairly soon.`

Moore didn`t rule out getting players in from the non-league and said, ‘We are going to use our scouting network and try and find these players before anyone else gets them. We have to make sure we are first on the scene when we see them.’
