Rotherham United striker Michael Smith has had the red card he received at Hillsborough last night overturned.
Referee Darren Bond pulled out a straight red for the tall striker after he and Julian Borner tussled in last night’s game against Sheffield Wednesday leaving the Millers with ten men for around half-an-hour.
After the club appealed the decision this morning an independent Regulatory Commission overturned the red card following a successful claim of wrongful dismissal.
This means Smith will be available for Saturday’s trip to Brentford.
