Millers Welcome Second Newcomer This Week

Rotherham United Manager Paul Warne has added a winger to the squad fetching in Chiedozie Ogbene on a three-year deal from Brentford.

The twenty-two year old was born in Nigeria moving to Ireland at a young age and played for Tramore Athletic and College Corinthians amongst others as well as Gaelic football for Nemo Rangers.

In 2015 he signed a deal with Cork City before January 2017 saw him move to Limerick who he was nominated for the League of Ireland Player of the Month three times.

The following January he moved to England signing a three-and-a-half year deal at Griffin Park. He made just nine appearances for the Bees – one in their four-two win at the New York Stadium coming on for the final couple of minutes – while also having a loan spell at Exeter playing in eighteen games for them.

All at Vital Rotherham welcome Chiedozie to the New York Stadium.
