Rotherham United will be hoping to carry on with winning ways at the New York Stadium tomorrow when AFC Wimbledon are the visitors.

The Millers are top of League One and have won both games they have played so far in February, the last one being last Friday night away at Lincoln. The Millers last home game saw five goals with the hosts winning three-two.

Sitting just above the relegation places Wimbledon played out a goalless draw against Ipswich Town on Tuesday night. They lost their last away game at Accrington with their last away win coming on Boxing Day against Bristol Rovers.

Rotherham United Manager Paul Warne told Radio Sheffield that Wimbledon ‘like to get a lot of crosses into the box, they’ve scored in most of their last few games and have done really well against the top teams so we cannot underestimate them’.

The Millers have no new injury worries with Curtis Tilt now in training and it’s hoped he will be available before the end of the month. Joe Mattock is back in training after missing Friday with a back problem. Billy Jones is close to full training. Matthew Olosunde has a sore groin and dropped out of the warm-up at Lincoln. Clark Robertson is still in pain and out of the running for the foreseeable future.

Wimbledon Manager Glyn Hodges told their Official Site that his team have to ‘recognise opportunities’ saying, ‘We are playing against another team that has been relegated from the Championship and there are lots of things they will throw at us. We just have to pick the opportunities and more importantly recognise the opportunities. We have to be brave on the ball.’

Wimbledon will be without former Rotherham loanee Anthony Wordsworth and and Paul Kalambayi and they will be giving Mads Bech Sorensen a late fitness test on a head injury which kept him out of Tuesday’s draw with Ipswich.

Saturday’s Referee is Michael Salisbury from Lancashire.
