Rotherham United travel to the Kassam Stadium for the first time tomorrow to take on Oxford United.
Oxford, who are well placed in ninth in League Two, have former Miller, Chris Wilder as their manager. The U’s haven’t lost at home since New Years day when Southend won there 2-0.
The Millers dropped a place to fourth with their away form being a bit of a worry, not having won away since beating Macclesfield at Moss Rose on 3rd January.
Oxford have designated this game as ‘Bring the Noise’ hoping that there will be a boost to the atmosphere at the ground.
Chris Wilder – I enjoyed my time at Rotherham and made a lot of good friends there. In the game earlier in the season at Don Valley we’d discussed the threat of Le Fondre, but he drifted off us twice and scored. I’m looking forward to the game tomorrow and it’s a big match for both teams with what I hope will be an attacking game with both teams having a go at it.
Ronnie Moore – We will have to defend a lot better than we did on Tuesday night. We need to be bright and positive.
Oxford United Team News:
Simon Hackney could get a first start, having done well when he’s come off the bench. Josh Payne is a doubt with an ankle injury. Damien Batt is out due to suspension.
Player to watch: JAMES CONSTABLE
Top scorer and captain who is powerful up front with bags of pace
Rotherham United Team News:
Ronnie Moore could give new loanee, Omar Daley a start, but it’s probable that he will start on the bench. The other loan signing, Callum Kennedy could start in defence. Andy Warrington may start after having stitches in a head injury sustained at Gillingham on Tuesday night but Jamie Annerson will be on hand if he doesn’t make it.
Player to watch: JASON TAYLOR
Strong in midfield and has been the Man of the Match in the last couple of games
SA Hooper from Wiltshire
The Millers are at Don Valley on Tuesday night for the re-arranged game against Accrington. Kick off is 7.45pm
