Rotherham United make the journey down to Loftus Road this afternoon to take on a QPR side who are nine places above themselves in the Championship.
Still waiting for their first win away from home this season the Millers go into this game after losing by a goal to nil away at Wolves last Saturday.
QPR took a point away from Elland Road in a nil-nil draw with Leeds with their last home win being against Barnsley eleven days ago.
Ian Holloway – Anyone who thinks this game is going to be easy in naive. They (Rotherham) aren’t going to come here and roll over. Everyone of my players wants to play for the crest on their shirt. I’m buzzing with this group and I feel very proud of them. This is our ground and we want to build on the last three wins here but we will also show Rotherham the respect they deserve because they aren’t as bad as their league position suggests.
Matty Hamshaw – Ian Holloway is an experienced Manager and they’ve got some shrewd acquisitions in the transfer window. They’ve got big athletic boys but also midfielders who want to play and they mix it up well. We’ve got to make sure we’re on it and perform.
QPR Team News:
This game will come too soon for Kazenga Lualua, Jack Robinson and Jordan Cousins will also miss out.
Player to watch: Idrissa Sylla
QPR’s top scorer will be hoping to add to his tally this afternoon.
Rotherham United Team News:
The Millers will be without Stephen Kelly and Richard Wood while Darnell Fisher is a major doubt too. Good news is that Carlton Morris, who finally joined up with Rotherham from his parent club Norwich this week, is fit to play some part in the team and former QPR player Dexter Blackstock is back in training and could feature. Joe Mattock is definitely out after getting his tenth yellow of the season last weekend.
Player to watch: Lewis Price
Will need to be alert and get his back four sorted to keep Ian Holloway’s side from scoring
