Rotherham United welcome Huddersfield Town to the New York Stadium this evening with the Millers hoping to end the night knowing they will still be in the Championship next season.
The Terriers got a comfortable win away at Blackburn at the weekend while Rotherham ground out a goalless draw with Nottingham Forest.
The Millers are unbeaten in nine and go into this game five places but just two points behind Huddersfield who are in sixteenth place.
Neil Warnock – David (Wagner) has got a really good pedigree and wants to play the way he wants too and the lads have taken it on board. Yes you’ll get hiccups but when they’ve got good results they’ve really battered teams and we know they are capable of doing that to us. So we’ve got to be on the front foot. As clubs we aren’t dissimilar. We aren’t the biggest clubs in Yorkshire but we can both ruffle a few feathers.
David Wagner – We have to show we are hungry and develop the good start to this busy week. We will try all we can to get the three points. Rotherham are on a great unbeaten run at the moment and I think the Manager has given the players the confidence they needed to collect points. But it’s up to us to stop that run.
Rotherham United Team News:
Neil Warnock will be hoping that Lee Frecklington is fit for this evenings game after he managed almost eighty minutes on Saturday. Joe Newell will be ready to deputise if needed. There could be a couple of other change and former Terrier Danny Ward could get the nod.
