Rotherham United entertain Morecambe tomorrow for Steve Evans first game in charge at Don Valley, with the Millers still having a slight chance of making the play-offs.
Morecambe come to Don Valley in thirteenth place and eight points behind the Millers, having lost their last game away from the Globe Arena, to Burton Albion. The Millers come into this game on the back of a three-one loss at Shrewsbury but have won their previous three games at Don Valley.
Steve Evans – I think, if Jim Bentley hadn’t had a two and a half month spell with injuries and suspensions to key players, Morecambe would have been pushing for promotion. There’s a good squad of players there and they have a tremendous work ethic and have a never-say-die attitude. Jim’s got them back on track now. He’s a big competitor as he was when he played and they are respected. They will be well organised, efficient, they’ll get it down and play and they’ll clear the lines.
Jim Bentley – Rotherham are a good side and it`s another game for us to look forward to. It`s going to be a difficult test for us
