Rotherham United welcome Southend United to the New York Stadium this afternoon which is tenth place v twelfth in League Two.
Both sides go into this game on fifteen points with the Millers having won one and had two goalless draws in their last three games while Southend have drawn two and lost one although they did beat Dagenham and Redbridge in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy on Tuesday night.
Steve Evans – When they’ve got their best eleven on the pitch Southend are a formidable team. They’re big and strong and have a good manager who will want to come here and put a damper on us. But we want all three points to put us nearer those promotion places.
Paul Sturrock – Rotherham are a big side and I’m sure they will be strong at home and it will be a difficult place to go. I am pleased with our performances so far and I think we’ve deserved more out of some of the games than what we’ve got but nobody has scared me yet.
