Rotherham United take on Aldershot this afternoon at Don Valley with the Millers needing to get back to winning ways.
The Shots are two points and two places above the Millers, who are in fifteenth place. Aldershot will come into this game full of confidence on the back of winning their last three league games while Rotherham have drawn their last three and have been leaking goals like the proverbial sieve.
Andy Scott – Aldershot are probably one of the best sides I`ve seen in our league this year. They are very energetic and get bodies forward and they scored five goals away from home against Dagenham. They`ve got very, very hard working players who know their job and who are very attack minded. They go all out to win the game and make it difficult for defences. They`ve done well this year without picking up the results they wanted and Dean (Holdsworth) sees them as being similar to us and having played better than their results have merited.
Dean Holdsworth – Rotherham are a good club with good players and are a much fancied and high profiled team for the division and they have a lot of expectancy. We need to go there with confidence and with three wins on the trot in the league the lads are hungry for more success.
Rotherham United Team News:
With Ryan Cresswell and Michael Raynes out injured this will pave the way for Guy Branston to start for the first time since being shown a red card in his first game back for the Millers. Andy Warrington is still having a slight problem with a thigh injury so Conrad Logan should keep his place between the sticks.
Player to watch: Gareth Evans
Energetic player who isn’t afraid to take defenders on and who has scored six goals already this season
Aldershot Town Team News:
Dean Holdsworth will be without Alex Rodman who has a shoulder injury and will probably name the same squad he has for the last two games.
Player to watch: Danny Hylton
leading the goal scoring charts in League Two at the moment and Andy Scott likens him to a ‘Paul Warne` with goals!
