The Millers were robbed of a win by a superb goal from Bristol City`s Scottish midfield player Scott Murray at Millmoor today.

The Cherries had to come from behind to keep their promotion hopes alive.

The Millers kept Robins` goalkeeper, Adriano Basso, busy during the first half and Eugene Bopp had a shot that went just wide while Gregor Robertson curled the ball just over the bar. At the other end, Neil Cutler made a full-stretch save from Scott Murray and Nigerian Enoch Showunmi blazed over from close range.

As half time approached, the Millers had a penalty claim turned down by referee Peter Walton when a curled shot from young striker Will Hoskins appeared to hit the arm of Cherries defender Liam Fontaine.

Just after half-time Delroy Facey was fed a through ball by Hoskins but crashed the ball wide from 20 yards out. But the breakthrough came on the 53rd minute when Facey, 12 yards out, lobbed the ball over a despairing Basso in front of the home fans in the Tivoli.

The Millers managed to hold onto the lead for the next 18 minutes before Murray received the ball from Jamie McAllister and curled the ball into the far top corner for his 4th goal of the campaign.

In the final few minutes Justine Cochrane for the Millers and the Robins Cole Skuse both had shots to try to win the game.

In the end a draw was perhaps the fairest result.
