While most of the other teams are having a break from the league playing in the FA Cup this weekend Rotherham United travel to Bristol Rovers for this afternoons League One clash.
Rovers are just three places above the relegation places going into this game while Rotherham dropped down to twelfth after last weekends loss at home to Wigan.
The Millers last away game saw them get a point at Doncaster Rovers with a last gasp goal while Bristol Rovers last home game saw them lose to AFC Wimbledon.
Darrell Clarke – This is a massive game for us and it’s all about the points. I know that the supporters will be in full voice and will get behind us. It will obviously be a tough game but we are at home and we want to put our disappointing performance from last week behind us.
Paul Warne – We will play with energy but we need to take our chances and defend resolutely. More than ever Saturday’s first goal will be crucial.
Bristol Rovers Team News:
Ryan Sweeney will have a late fitness check and if he doesn’t make it either Tom Broadbent will get a recall or Joe Partington could slot in at the back. Billy Bodin should start after playing against Blackburn last weekend.
Player to watch: Billy Bodin
Rovers top scorer so far this season and will want to give the home fans something to shout about with him making his first home start since injury in September
Rotherham United Team News:
Paul Warne has no fresh injury worries although this game might come too early for the likes of Jon Taylor, Ben Purrington and Alex Bray
Player to watch: Kieffer Moore
The Millers could do with a couple of goals from this young man this afternoon
