Millers v Forest Preview

|

Rotherham United travel to the City Ground to take on a Nottingham Forest side whose last home game was a win over Sheffield Wednesday on Wednesday night.

The Millers are yet to get an away point this season and lost at Villa Park on Tuesday.

Forest go into this game in eleventh place with eleven points while Rotherham dropped to eighteenth place but are just two points less than this afternoons opponents.

Aitor Karanka, Forest’s Manager, told their Official Site that he considers Rotherham ‘a very good team’ saying, ‘they have started the season really well so we need to go to the pitch knowing that it will be a tough game against a tough opponent. But it is all about us and if we play our style we will be fine.

Karanka will have to decided whether to stick with the side that got all three points on Wednesday night or to use his squad and rotate. Former Miller Lewis Grabban will probably be in the starting eleven after scoring his first goal since joining Forest in the summer.

Rotherham United Manager Paul Warne says that Forest have some good players telling iFOLLOW that they deserved their win on Wednesday night. ‘We’ve got to be respectful of the opposition,’ Warney said, ‘but not fearful.’

The Millers will be without injured duo Clark Robertson and Sean Raggett who are both out for some weeks and the game will probably come too early for Joe Newell who has a hip problem. Warney could also be thinking of making a few changes this being the second away game in four days.

The Officials for this game consist of referee Rob Jones from Merseyside, linesmen Nick HoptonĀ and Robert Hyde while Kevin Johnson from Somerset is the Fourth Official.
