Rotherham United welcome Brighton and Hove Albion for their first visit to the New York Stadium this afternoon.

The Millers go into this game on the back of four losses with their last home win being against Millwall at the end of February while the Seagulls last away win was just before the International break at Blackburn.

Rotherham are just five points above the bottom three with Brighton five places and five points better off.

Both sides lost their games on Good Friday, the Millers away at Birmingham by two goals to one and Brighton at home to Norwich, one-nil.

Vital Quotes:

Steve Evans – Chris Hughton and Colin Caulderwood have made a difference since going in there and for me it`s been the quality of player they`ve signed and they`ll have them fighting tooth and nail. They are a great club with a great owner and I think they`ll come through the spell they`re in.

Chris Hughton – They’re all big games coming up but I’m sure this group of lads will continue to work hard.

Rotherham United Team News:

The Millers will have Kari Arnason back in contention after serving a two match ban. Hopefully striker Danny Ward will also be back from injury although Frazer Richardson won’t make it.

Player to watch: Emi Martinez

Has some very good handling skills while his distribution is also extremely effective

Brighton and Hove Albion Team News:

Chris Hughton will be without skipper Gordon Greer who is out suspended and will probably put Lewis Dunk in his place. Mustapha Carayol could make his debut but Sam Baldock, Andrew Crofts, Kemy Agustien and Solly March are still on the injured list

Player to watch: Chris O’Grady

A former player coming back (let’s hope not to haunt us) who left the Millers under a bit off a cloud. Had loan spell earlier in the season with our near neighbours Sheffield United but was recalled early and has played almost every game since.
