Rotherham United will be hoping to start the new year as they finished the old one – with three points on the board. But, I think, as fans, we know this is going to be a difficult game against Blackburn Rovers despite the Millers having home advantage.
Rovers are currently sitting pretty in third place in the table getting four points from their last two games, both of which were at Ewood Park. Their last away game was just before Christmas when their six match winning run was ended with a draw at Northampton.
The Millers moved to seventh place after winning their last two away games. Rotherham’s last home game saw them come back from being one down to MK Dons to get all three points with a two-one win.
