Rotherham United travel to St Andrews this Good Friday afternoon to take on Birmingham City.

The Millers are just one place above the drop zone with the Blues eleven places above in fifteenth position.

Rotherham’s last win was away at Wigan with them losing their last two games. Birmingham, who are in the hands of the receivers, last win was at home at the beginning of March to Blackpool with their last home game ending in a one-all draw.

Vital Quotes:

Gary Rowett – Any team that Steve Evans is in charge of are going to be passionate, full of energy and determination. It’s going to be a really competitive game.

Steve Evans – Although Birmingham are unbeaten in four at St Andrews their form of late has been a bit patchy. There players will be playing for contracts and pride now which can sometimes be the most dangerous time to play a team.

Birmingham City Team News:

Gary Rowett will probably start latest loan signing Diego Fabbrini after before the loan window closed. Although injured duo Matt Green and former Miller Gavin Gunning recently played in an U21 game they won’t be rushed back. Jonathan Spector and Andy Shinnie are major doubts although Michael Morrison is expected back after suffering an ankle injury.

Player to watch: Diego Fabbrini

Attacking midfielder/striker who has joined on loan from Watford. This Italian International (one cap so far) is quick and could cause the Millers defence a few problems

Rotherham United Team News:

The Millers will be missing Kari Arnason, suspended, and injured duo Danny Ward and Frazer Richardson. So it could be the same eleven who started the last game

Player to watch: Jack Hunt

Quick and accurate Jack will need to play a big part in today’s match
