Rotherham United have added to their loan players by fetching in Domingos Quina on loan  from Watford.

Born in Guinea-Bissau the attacking midfielder moved to Portugal as a young boy and spent his youth career with Benfica, Chelsea and West Ham signing a deal with the Hammers in May 2016. He made his debut for West Ham two months later in a Europa League game going on to play in another game the following month. He also played in the Papa John’s Trophy game for the U23’s away at Coventry. The following season he made eight appearances in various cup/trophy games before he signed a four year deal with Watford in August 2018.

Quina made his debut for the Hornets in a Carabao Cup game away at Reading and scored his first professional goal in the two-nil win. He made his Premier League debut coming off the bench at Vicarage Road against Manchester City in the December and scored his first goal in the top flight eleven days later in a three-two home win against Cardiff City which saw him become the youngest Watford player to score in a Premier League game. When Watford dropped down into the Championship he played in fifteen games before going out on loan to La Liga side Granada scoring twice in eight games. The 2021/2 season saw him out on loan with Fulham then Barnsley before August last year saw him back in Spain with Elche where he’s been involved in eleven games.

Domingos, who is the son of former Benfica and Portugese defender Samuel Quina, has caps for Portugal at U17,U18,U19,U20 and U21 levels.
