Rotherham United have signed Clark Robertson from Blackpool.
The twenty-four year old Scot was born in Aberdeen and joined the Dons at the age of eight rising through the ranks going on to make sixty-eight appearances for the Scottish Premier League side before being released in 2015.
From Aberdeen the centre-back joined Blackpool, and although his first season ended in relegation he helped them to promotion at the first time of asking. He was an ever-present in the two years he was there winning the Seasiders’ Player Of The Year last season.
Clark has caps for Scotland’s U19 and U21 sides and is a left-footed player who is comfortable on the ball. In the past he has said that one of his main ambitions is to get into Scotland’s first team squad and surely a move to the Millers in the Championship can help him do that.
All at Vital Rotherham welcome Clark to the New York Stadium.
