The Millers remain unbeaten after they came away from Brentford with a point today after a 0-0 draw.

Neither side provided much goalmouth action at a sunny Griffin Park although the home side started well getting three corners in the first few minutes of the game which the Millers defence easily dealt with. Brett Johnson then had a header that skimmed over Andy Warringtons crossbar before Drewe Broughton had the Millers first shot of the day when he got between a defender and ‘keeper Ben Hamer but shot wide under pressure. Reuben Reid made a break but he took two touches where perhaps one would have been better and James Wilson got the ball off him. Coming up to half time, the Millers got a corner and the ball found it’s way to Charlie MacDonald, who in turn found Marvin Williams. Williams swung a cross in from the right and found Nathan Elder but he headed wide from eight yards out.

MacDonald came close to putting the Bees in front at the start of the second half but his effort was blocked by Ian Sharps. Nick Fenton had a header scrambled away and a few minutes later the ball fell to Sharps who saw his shot blocked by ex Miller, Marcus Bean. This was the Millers best part of the game and a Pablo Mills cross found Alex Rhodes but he shot wide before a Mark Hudson corner found Fenton’s head but Hamer made a good save to deny the defender a goal.

To be honest, the game had none-none written all over it from the first few minutes and, although neither manager will perhaps be over pleased with the performance, it is another point for the Millers which takes them to minus seven.
