Rotherham United are being heavily linked with Glasgow Rangers midfielder Greg Docherty according to the Daily Record

Coming through the Youth ranks with Hamilton Academical the twenty-one year old went on to play around one hundred times for the Accies before January this year saw him sign a four-and-a-half year contract at Ibrox Park. He went on to make fourteen appearances last season for Rangers.

This might be a good move for the lad, to get experience, although I’d have thought playing a number of times for Rangers already he might have thought he was in with a good shout of starting next season.

Will it be a good move for Rotherham United?

Paul Warne has said today that he’d like at least one centre-midfielder in next week, but at not quite six feet and only twenty-one, will Greg Docherty fit the bill? Or do we need more experience in that role?

And there is interest from other clubs with League One Sunderland seemingly top of the list.
