The latest rumour regarding Rotherham United has come from The Irish Mirror linking us with Aaron McEneff.
The Derry born midfielder came through the youth ranks of Tottenham Hotspur moving back to his home town in 2015.
Last season Aaron scored a number of goals for the Candystripes including one in the Europa League against Denmark side Midtylland.
Now twenty-two, Aaron has got caps for Northern Ireland at U17, U19 and U21 sides.
So, the Millers are linked with a midfielder. Personally, I’d like to have seen us linked with a ‘keeper and right-back before we started looking in the middle of park. But, if the Gaffer thinks he needs a midfielder and this lad fits the bill who am I to know any better?
So far Paul Warne hasn’t dipped into the transfer market – or at least not that we know of – but he has said he knows what sort of player he wants and I think that always helps!
