Rotherham United are being linked with former Cardiff City winger Anthony Pilkington.

Anthony played more than one hundred games for the Bluebirds before moving to Wigan Athletic in January last year who he made ten appearances for.

Pilkington is an attacking winger and in his early career played for Stockport County, Huddersfield Town and Norwich City before joining Cardiff and might well do a good job for the Millers but I do think at thirty-two he doesn’t really fit into the ‘Paul Warne mould’. Plus, he has spent quite a lot of time on the sidelines injured in the last year – and, let’s be honest, we already have players who tend to get injuries – do we really want one more?

The Football Insider is also suggesting that his former club Huddersfield are interested in taking him back to the John Smith’s Stadium while saying ‘other clubs’ are also interested.

Me? I think it could very well be agent talk. What about you?
