Rotherham United are being linked with Hamilton Academical’s defender Hakeem Odoffin.

The twenty-three year old started his career with Barnet before joining Wolverhampton Wanderers in January 2016. While there he had a loan spell with Eastleigh before signing a two-year deal with Northampton Town. Eighteen months later he moved North of the Border joining Livingston and July 2020 saw him move on to the Accies and last season made forty-one appearances, thirty-seven of those in the Scottish Premier League.

It seems that the Millers have competition for Hakeem with the Daily Record saying that Scottish side Hibs also showing an interest in the Barnet born defender while he was linked with other Scottish sides during the last transfer window.

We know that Rotherham need a defender and while he has been at the New Douglas Park he has also played as a defensive midfield.  So, could he be the one?  Or is this just ‘paper talk’?
