Rotherham United are thought to be showing an interest in Nottingham Forest winger Gboly Ariyibi.
The Millers are not the only club who are interested in the twenty-four year old American with The 72 saying that fellow League One side Oxford United are also looking at Ariyibi who seem surplus to requirements at The City Ground not having played for them since joining in January 2017 having had recent loan spells with MK Dons, Northampton Town and over the border in Scotland with Motherwell.
Born in Virginia, Gboly was only weeks old when his parents brought him to England and he came through the Youth ranks with Southampton. Having had various trials he moved to Leeds United in December 2013 making his league debut at the end of the month against Nottingham Forest. While at Elland Road he went out on loan to Tranmere Rovers and in August 2014 signed a deal with Chesterfield going on to play over eighty games.
With it being thought that Rotherham Manager Paul Warne was looking to bring in a midfielder could this just be a rumour? Time, I suppose, will tell.
