Millers Had Offer For Striker Rejected?

|

Rotherham United have reportedly had a bid for Accrington Stanley striker Kayden Jackson rejected.

The twenty-four year old joined Stanley in July last year and went on to make forty-nine appearances where his sixteen goals helped them to the League Two title.

This young man certainly seems one in the mold of what Millers Manager Paul Warne wants in his squad. He’s young and knows where the net is. And if Warney does want this lad then I have to think he has to be fit and one that the Millers Boss can see fitting in with the squad he already has.

But it seems, if we have made a bid, there has been a ‘no’ from Accrington. It’s also been said that Peterborough and former Millers Manager Steve Evans has also had a bid rejected while it seems another former Miller, Paul Hurst, who the striker has worked under before when he had a loan spell at Grimsby Town while with Barnsley, has also enquired about him for Ipswich Town.

Seems if we do want him we might have to up our offer.
