Millers Get Left Wing-Back On Loan

Rotherham United have brought in midfielder/left wing-back Ryan Giles on loan from Wolverhampton Wanderers – subject to EFL, Premier League and FA ratification.

The twenty year old came through the Youth ranks at Molineux making his debut in an FA Cup game in January 2019 when he started away at Shrewsbury. Prior to this he made a handful of appearances for Wolves U21 side in the Football League Trophy.

Born in Telford, Ryan had a loan spell with AFC Telford United then went on loan to Shrewsbury Town who he played twenty-five times for, twice of those against Rotherham. In January 2020 he moved to Coventry City, his only game coming against the Millers before Covid-19 ended the season. He rejoined the Sky Blues for the beginning of this season making twenty-one appearances,, nineteen of those being in the Championship before being recalled by Wolves.

Ryan has caps for England at U20 level.
