Millers Get Another Home Tie

Rotherham United have been drawn against either Bolton Wanderers or Stockport County, who drew two-all on Sunday, in the second round of the FA Cup.

Rotherham United were last in the second round of the FA Cup in December 2019. After beating Maidenhead in the first round they met another National League side Solihull Motors. The Moors took a three goal lead with early goals from Jamie Osborne and Alex Gudger plus one just after the hour mark from Jimmy Ball. But the league side came back scoring four goals in final fifteen minutes the goals coming from Freddie Ladapo, Michael Ihiekwe and two from Michael Smith to get Rotherham a third round tie with Premier League side Everton.

This season the Millers overcame non-league side Bromley at the New York Stadium when goals from Ben Wiles, Freddie Ladapo and Will Grigg gave them a three-nil win.

The game will take place at the New York Stadium on the 3rd, 4th or 5th December.
