Rotherham United have been drawn against Tranmere Rovers in the next round of the newly named Vertu Trophy which is the first time the pair have been drawn against each other in this competition.
The Millers got through to this round by topping Group H after winning all three games they played in – at home to Mansfield Town and a Newcastle U21 side and away at Barnsley.
Rovers were runners-up in Group A having lost at home to an Everton U21 side they went on to win games at home to Accrington Stanley and away at Stockport County.
The game will take place the week commencing 9th December at the New York Stadium.
