Millers Being Linked With Striker

|

Rotherham United are being linked with striker Ross Stewart of Ross County.

Born in Irvine the twenty-four year old began his career in the Scottish Juniors with Ardeer Thistle before moving to Kilwinning Rangers. In the summer of 2016 he moved to Albion Rovers and the following season moved into the Scottish Championship with St Mirren. He had a loan spell with Alloa Athletic and August 2018 signed for Ross County making his debut in the Scottish League Cup and helping them get promoted to the Championship in his first season. He went on to make around eighty appearances scoring twenty-eight goals for the Staggies.

Ross is out of contract with Ross County at the end of the season and although they probably would love to keep him, if he was to leave they will be wanting money for him.

According to The 72 the Millers are one of a number of clubs keeping tabs on him with other English clubs MK Dons and Shrewsbury Town also being linked with Ross.

I’m not sure about this one. I know it’s great to have a number of strikers in the squad but do we really need another front man? I’d have thought we’d have been looking more at getting a good quality defender in to boost the back line
