Millers At Home For First Game

Rotherham United’s first game back in the Championship sees them take on Swansea City at the New York Stadium.

The Swans were last in Rotherham on 30th January 2021 which saw them get a three-one win.

The game is due to take place during the last weekend in July.

The Millers first game of last season saw them in a League One game at the New York Stadium when Plymouth Argyle were the visitors, the hosts winning two-nil, Freddie Ladapo and Ben Wiles scoring. Rotherham also won their last first game of the season in the Championship when a Michael Ihiekwe goal in the final minutes of the game saw them triumph at Adams Park against Wycombe Wanderers.

Our South Yorkshire derby games against Sheffield United will take place at Bramall Lane on 10th September and at the New York Stadium on 4th February 2023.

Boxing Day sees the Millers at home to Stoke City and New Years day we have a trip to the Den to take on Millwall.
