Rotherham United’s latest recruit, Mickel Miller told the Official Site that he can’t ‘wait to get started’.

Signing today from Scottish side Hamilton Academicals he says he’s ‘delighted’ to have been given the opportunity to join Rotherham but knows that it is going to be a challenge for him.

Being in lockdown has made it pretty difficult to talk to prospective players as Millers Boss Paul Warne usually likes to but he and Mickel have been talking on Zoom.

‘It’s been difficult (to keep fit),’ the twenty-four year old said. ‘I’ve been jogging when I can and doing things at home. I’ve met some of the boys already and I know it’s going to be intense. The whole routine and getting back to football is going to be nice and I can’t wait.’

All the profiles on Mickel I have read it says ‘forward’ but today he said he is a winger who can play on either side and is ‘pretty flexible’. Great news.
