Rotherham United entertain Blackburn Rovers this afternoon at the New York Stadium which is bottom place taking on twenty-second place in the Championship.
The Millers go into this clash after a one-nil loss away at Bristol City with Blackburn winning their home game against QPR.
Rovers last away win was at the end of November at St James’ Park while the last time Rotherham were at home saw them lose one-nil to neighbours Barnsley.
Paul Warne – Blackburn are hard working and have some good players but we’ve been playing really good at home. I’m hoping the lads come out of the traps early and put on a performance to make people smile.
Owen Coyle – The game at Ewood Park was huge and this one will be the same and we’d settle for the same result. As we move in to the second half of the season, every game becomes the biggest of the season. Rotherham are a tough side and Saturday will be tight.
Rotherham United Team News:
Rotherham will welcome Tom Adeyemi back to the team after illness but the game has come too soon for Darnell Fisher and Aimen Belaid. Lee Frecklington also misses out but although Warney would have liked new boy Joel Ekstrand to have had a Reserve game under his belt it could be that the Swedish centre-back plays some part in this game. With Lewis Price still unavailable Richare O’Donnell will keep his place between the posts. Also out are long term injured Kirk Broadfoot, Lee Camp and Jonson Clarke-Harris.
Player to watch: Tom Adeyemi
After missing the last couple of games through illness Tom will be trying his best to help the Millers get points this afternoon
Blackburn Rovers Team News:
Owen Coyle is hoping to have Gordon Greer and Derrick Williams available after injuries but will be without defensive duo Elliott Ward and Tommie Hoban. Long term injured Adam Henley and Corry Evans won’t be involved.
Player to watch: Sam Gallagher
Will want to add to the eleven goals he’s already scored this season
