Midfielder Signs In

|

Rotherham United have delved into the transfer market this afternoon by bringing in Shaun MacDonald subject to EFL and FA ratification.

The Welsh International came through the Youth ranks at Swansea City going on to play twenty-four games for them while also having loan spells with Yeovil Town.

August 2011 saw the midfielder sign for Bournemouth helping them to the Premier League making his debut in 2015 coming off the bench against Manchester City.

Five years after moving to the Cherries Shaun joined Wigan Athletic making forty-one appearances in his first season before a broken leg against Reading saw him spend the whole of the following season in the treatment room.

Last season saw him play in just two cup games – one of those at the New York Stadium in the League Cup – before another injury set him back again.

The thirty-year-old has signed a two year deal with the Millers.

All at Vital Rotherham welcome Shaun to the New York Stadium.
