Midfielder On Millers Radar

|

Rumours have it that Rotherham United are thinking of fetching in midfielder Matt Crooks from Northampton Town.

The HITC Sport says that a number of clubs have been keeping an eye on the twenty-four year old with the Millers being one of them.

The former Huddersfield Town Youth player had various loan spells before one of them led to a permanent deal with Accrington Stanley in February 2015. July 2016 saw him move over the border to Rangers where he played a couple of games before moving back to England to Lincolnshire with Scunthorpe United on a loan deal.

Last summer he joined the Cobblers and went on to make thirty-four appearances last season scoring four goals.

Millers Boss Paul Warne has been saying that he wanted to fetch at least one midfielder in before the window shut and on Saturday’s performance I think I’d have to agree with him. But will Crooks be the one?
