Meeting Put Back To Next Tuesday

The Board of the EFL have met today to talk about proposed amendments of how the current season will end with the results of this seeing next Monday’s meeting between the EFL and the football clubs put back a day to Tuesday, 9th June where clubs will consider a number of different proposals that have been put forward.
With Premier League football starting again on 17th June, the Championship looking likely to re-start three days later and League Two wanting the season to end with no more games played it is just Rotherham United’s League One that are ‘ladies’ in waiting.
Mid-May saw a statement saying that promotion, relegation and play-offs will take place.
Today’s statement says, ‘This now brings an end to a comprehensive consultation phase and clubs have today received formal notice of the meeting where clubs will consider a number of different proposals from both clubs and the board of the EFL.’
As time lapses even further I really can’t see how League’s One and Two can play the season out. If this is right it must surely be a matter of just voting if the season ends with the table as it is, if they use the points-per-game system or if they null and void the 2019/20 season. Unless one of the new proposals seems a better idea.
All in all I really do believe whatever the decision it could have been done much earlier.
