Rotherham United have many youngsters coming through the ranks at the moment and caretaker manager, Mark Robins, lined up with some on Saturday away at Brentford. It could have gone horribly wrong – thankfully, for us Millers fans, it didn’t.

Eighteen year old Liam King was one of the players picked to start and he spoke earlier to MillersWorld

‘It was a real buzz for me to pull on the Millers shirt,’ he said, ‘I’ve been working towards it all my life and Robbo gave me the chance – hopefully, I did well.

‘On Saturday Robbo asked us to put in a battling performance and we did. Once the goal went in we put our life and soul into it and all worked our socks off.

I am confident of getting something at Crewe. Then, all we need is a few more wins under our belts and the confidence will rise in the team.’
