Jones Back For Rehab

|

Rotherham United right-back Billy Jones is back at the New York Stadium for rehab on a knee injury.

The thirty-three year old re-joined Crewe Alexandra, his first professional club, in January on loan from the Millers until the end of the season which would bring him to the end of his contract with Rotherham.

Billy joined the Millers in the summer of 2018, making twenty-two appearances that first season, his second season being cut short with a hamstring problem seeing him play in just a dozen games. His seven games this season were mostly off the bench before he went on to play three games for the Alex, all last month.

Speaking to their Official Site Crewe’s Manager, and former Rotherham United player, Dave Artell said, ‘Billy went to see his specialist and it has been decided that he has gone back to Rotherham to undergo his rehab.’

Wishing Billy all the best in his recovery.
