Rotherham United striker Jerry Yates has returned to Swindon Town on loan until the end of the season – subject to EFL and FA ratification.

Jerry originally joined the Robins in the summer and had played twenty-nine times scoring thirteen goals – twelve in the league and one in an FA Cup game – before being recalled by the Millers last week with Rotherham Manager Paul Warne saying he wanted to look at ‘what progress he’d made.’

Jerry joined the Millers at the age of fourteen making his League debut in April 2015 while his first goals for Rotherham came in an EFL Cup game against Morecambe the following August.

There was thoughts, among the fans, that the twenty-three year old might be stopping at home after he made an appearance from the subs bench on Saturday away at Peterborough but that obviously wasn’t the case.

All at Vital Rotherham wish Jerry well back at the County Ground where Swindon Town are currently top of League Two.
