Rotherham United welcome Stevenage for their second visit to the New York Stadium the last being over ten years ago.

That Saturday in February 2014 saw Wes Thomas put the Millers in front four minutes before the break and it looked like it would stay like that until Francois Zoko equalised on eighty-six minutes. But, just ninety second later Haris Vuckic won the ball in midfield before putting it into the path of Lee Frecklington who twisted one way then the other before curling the ball into the bottom corner of the net to give Rotherham the three points.

The first time the two met at Rotherham’s ‘home’ was when the Millers were at Don Valley Stadium in October 2010. Nicky Law put the Millers ahead on the stroke of half-time which was against run of play. The second half was a scrappy affair although Nick Fenton thought he had doubled the Millers lead but the referee ruled out the header, though no-one quite knew why. With eight minutes to go John Mousinho got an equaliser for the Boro and Chris Holroyd thought he’d won the game for the visitors in the dying seconds of the game but the flag had gone up for off-side.
