Rotherham United make the journey to the Bet365 Stadium to take on Stoke City tomorrow.

The last time the Millers were at the bet365 Stadium in the league was in April 2005. The Millers went in leading at half-time with a goal from Martin Butler on the twenty-third minute but a Gifton Noel-Williams goal on eighty-three minutes pulled the hosts level. Three minutes into time added on Stoke went down to ten men after Michael Dubbery got a second yellow card and two minutes later Noel-Williams turned from hero to villain when his own goal gave the Millers all three points.

Easter Monday 2004 saw Rotherham visit Stoke and again took away all the points. Jody Morris scored the opener on twenty-two minutes with Martin Butler making it a two-nil victory for the visitors.

A Division One game in April 2003 was the last time Rotherham were defeated on Stoke soil in the league. Paul Warhurst scored for the hosts on twenty-one minutes with Andy Cooke making it two-nil five minutes before half-time. On sixty-four minutes the Millers went down to ten men after John Mullin was sent off for a head butt.

The first time the pair met on Stoke soil was at the Victoria Ground in October 1919 which saw a three-nil victory for the Potters.

The pair did meet at the bet365 Stadium in the Carling Cup in November 2008 which was a win for the Potters when goals from Glen Whelan and Danny Pugh gave them another home game in the next round to Derby.

The game at the New York Stadium earlier this season ended two-all. Two minutes into the second half Ashley Williams brought down Ryan Williams in the box and Ryan Manning scored from the resulting penalty with the Millers doubling their lead three minutes later when a Richard Wood header was poked over the line by Richie Towell. Just before the hour mark Stoke pulled one back thanks to Tom Ince and they got a deserved point five minutes from time when Bojan Krkic stooped to put the ball out of reach of Marek Rodak and make it two-all.
