|

Rotherham United welcome Fleetwood Town for their third league visit to the New York Stadium.

The last time the pair met at the New York Stadium was in April 2018 which was a three-two win for the hosts. Ashley Eastham put Fleetwood in front on five minutes but an own goal on twelve minutes from Nathan Pond equalised for the Millers. Six minutes into the second half Joe Newell put the hosts in front but four minutes later Cian Bolger equalised for Fleetwood. On the seventy-seventh minute Richard Wood made it three-two to Rotherham who managed to hold on for all three points.

The first time the Cod Army were at the New York Stadium was in April 2013 when Daniel Nardiello put the hosts one up on three minutes. Three minutes later a certain David Ball equalised for Fleetwood but a goal on sixty-two minutes from Kieran Agard gave Rotherham all three points in this League Two game.

Fleetwood have been to the New York Stadium since then in the Capital One Cup when a Matt Derbyshire penalty in extra time saw the Millers through to the next round.
