Rotherham United welcome Fleetwood Town for their fourth league visit to the New York Stadium

The pair last met in Rotherham in December 2019 when a twenty-sixth minute Ched Evans goal saw the visitors go in front. Freddie Ladapo equalised on sixty-two minutes but Evans struck again a minute later. With ten minutes to go Matt Crooks earned the Millers a point when he bundled the ball over from close range.

April 2018 also saw Fleetwood in town which ended as a three-two win for the hosts. Ashley Eastham put Fleetwood in front on five minutes but an own goal on twelve minutes from Nathan Pond equalised for the Millers. Six minutes into the second half Joe Newell put the hosts in front but four minutes later Cian Bolger equalised for Fleetwood. On the seventy-seventh minute Richard Wood made it three-two to Rotherham who managed to hold on for all three points.

Fleetwood’s Cod Army first came to the New York Stadium in April 2013 when Daniel Nardiello put the hosts one up on three minutes. Three minutes later a certain David Ball equalised for Fleetwood but a goal on sixty-two minutes from Kieran Agard gave Rotherham all three points in this League Two game.
