Rotherham United will be without winger Jake Hastie who has returned to Scotland to his parent club Rangers.
The twenty-year old arrived at the New York Stadium in September on a season long loan scoring on his debut away against Doncaster Rovers. Jake scored in his next two games – in our six-one home win over Bolton Wanderers and the equaliser away at the Stadium of Light in our one-all draw against Sunderland.
Jake went on to play a total of sixteen times for Rotherham his last game coming on New Years Day when he came off the bench in our home win over Blackpool.
I thought Jake played well when I’ve seen him and can’t understand why he’s been on the bench though hardly getting any game time. In an interview this week Millers Boss Paul Warne has said that he’s hoping to fetch another in before the end of the week – maybe a winger to replace Hastie, though, if so, why not just keep him here?
All at Vital Rotherham wish Jake ‘best wishes’ for his future.
