Mick Harford has asked for the Football League to review their policy on the postponement of games because of international call-ups.

The rules at the moment state that clubs have to have at least three players called up to International action in order to postpone a game. However Harford says the clubs with smaller squads suffer more:

‘This will leave us down to the bare bones and it’s not really fair for clubs like ourselves who have such small squads. Bigger clubs can stand the loss of two players but we can’t really do that so it’s time the matter was looked at a little more sympathetically with the squad size being taken into consideration.’
