Rotherham United travel to the KCOM Stadium this evening to take on Hull City and will be hoping to get their first away win of the season.
After a draw at home on Saturday against Wigan Athletic the Millers are just one point and one place above the three relegation places in the table. Their last away game saw them get a point at The Den in a goalless draw with Millwall.
After an indifferent start to the season City go into this fixture in mid-table winning their last home game two-nil over Stoke City although Saturday’s game away at Derby County finished as a home win.
‘Its another big game,’ City Manager Nigel Adkins told HullLive ahead of this evenings clash which could give his side their sixth consecutive home win.
After not being allowed to play against his parent club Chris Martin, on loan from Derby, is back in contention for the Tigers tonight. Still out injured are Angus MacDonald, Ondrej Mazuch and Jon Toral but Reece Burke and Jordy De Wijs could be back after injury.
Speaking to the Official Site Millers Boss Paul Warne said he is thinking of ‘flipping’ the team saying that if Rotherham want to get anything they have to be at their best. ‘Hull are on a good run. They are good out wide and have pace throughout,’ he said.
Kyle Vassell has to have an operation on a groin injury and will be out for around five weeks while Clark Robertson is only rated fifty/fifty with an ankle problem. Joe Newell came off the bench for some game time on Saturday for the first time since the first day of the year and Ben Wiles, who has been out since mid-January injured was also on the bench. Good news for the Millers is that winger Ryan Williams should travel with the squad.

Shall be at the game tonight as i live in bridlington so just a short hop down to Hull, be extremely tough tonight and if we get a point it will be well earned, as for Mr calamity Warne shuffling is pack erm with what, he as run Michael Smith into the ground with constant game time and is total and utter failure in the transfer window.
Why are Rotherham fans so pessimistic? The last time we were in the Championship, it was such a relief to get relegated because it was painful to watch. Paul Warne has done such a great job in putting a really good team together, getting the promotion straight back up. This club has the lowest budget by a country mile and are generally playing against former and will be premiership teams.
I am sure that given the chance to play or not to play, Smith would be on the pitch like a shot – and is.
Every game in this league is tough and the league one team that got us promoted is pretty much still there.
Rotherham have a lot to be proud of.

It’s brilliant to finally read something that’s upbeat – 10,000 people like you, and in my view, and NYS would be buzzing, the team – giving even more than they already do.
I can’t understand why people choose to knock the manager. It’s clear he has the backing of all the staff as well as the players and Chairman. And his strategy, decisions, in the main, have been excellent.
