Rotherham United striker Freddie Ladapo has told the club he wants to leave.

The twenty-eight year old joined the Millers from Plymouth Argyle in the summer of 2019 on a three year deal scoring seventeen goals in his first season. He wasn’t quite as prolific a scorer in his second season with nine strikes, although he will always be remembered for his blistering goal at Hillsborough to give the visitors a late win. So far this season he has found the net twelve times making his the second highest scorer under Michael Smith.

The club have this afternoon issued a statement saying that they will not be commenting any further at this time.
