Rotherham United goalkeeper, Neil Cutler, pulled off some great saves today to help the Millers get a point at promotion candidates Nottingham Forest.

He spoke to Radio Sheffield after the game, ‘It was a great point,’ he said , ‘and we had a few chances to get all three. Forest are a great team and have a large squad.’

He spoke of Chris O’Grady’s goal, ‘he’s been working on it in training, he has one hell of a strike on him. He hit today’s perfectly.’

He was asked why the team hadn’t been producing performances like todays all season, ‘ I think we got stuck in a rut,’ he said, ‘Once you get stuck like this it’s hard to get out of. We were trying hard but it just wasn’t working. Hopefully we are out of that now and we can get on now and get out of this trouble we are in. If we don’t manage to get out of trouble then we have to start thinking about next season.’

Cutler was asked about the managers, ‘I thought Alan Knill was first class,’ he said, ‘but the gaffer’s come in and installed a bit of strength of character and a bit of belief. We are going out and thinking we can get a win. Robbo is full of spirit and he’s eager. I’m sure he’s heading and kicking every ball.

‘He’s a roll up your sleeves with your heart on your sleeve kind of man. I’m sure he’s going to be good for the club.’
